16th. ANNUAL JUNE PIKE TOURNAMENT
RULES & REGULATIONS
  1. Orientation meeting Saturday, June 9, 2012 at East Ferris Community Center at 7:00 p.m.
  2. Tournament boundaries are Lake Nosbonsing.
  3. No pre-fishing or boating on Lake after 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 6, 2012
  4. Fishing hours 8:00 a.m. to 3 p.m. First heat teams: 1 to 75. Fishing hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.Second heat teams: 76-150.
  5. Boat inspection and check station at Government Dock, Big Moose Road.
  6. A maximum of (5) five pike per team may be presented for scoring. No other species of fish may be retained by competitors.
  7. Pike must be a minimum of 18" in length (nose to tip of tail). 10 point bonus for live release.
  8. Late penalty: one inch per minute. Competitors must check in at official boat before measuring. No fishing after check in.
  9. Artificial lures only, no live bait. Scent may be used.
  10. All contestants must wear approved life jackets while travelling, other than trolling or drifting speed.
  11. Boats may be inspected anytime during the day. No persons other than actual competitors or a tournament official are allowed in their boats.
  12. Live wells or aerated coolers are mandatory.
  13. No participant can touch shore during the day, other than at the official checking station.
  14. No alcoholic beverages aboard boats.
  15. At least one competitor per team must be 18 years of age or older.
  16. Competitors will be disqualified without refund for any violation of tournament rules. The officials decision will be final.
  17. Competitors will be banned from future events for unsportsmanlike conduct. the officials decision will be final.
  18. In the event of a tie, the winner will be determined by a coin toss.
  19. No trolling through a crowd of stationary boats fishing with the use of their electronic positioning motor.
  20. Teams must be paid in full to win the BONUS TOURNAMENT
