  Rules & Regulations  
1.This Tournament is run by the Nosbonsing Anglers and Hunters Club Inc. The entry fee is $50.00 per person and includes a BBQ.Tournament officials must receive a signed and completed entry form accompanied by a cheque or money order in the appropriate amount prior to competing in the Tournament. Cheques are to be made to NOSBONSING ANGLERS & HUNTERS INC.

2.Maximum of (55) fifty-five teams will be allowed to compete.

3.Entries received by August 1, 2010 will be eligible for an EARLY BIRD draw on the day of the tournament.

4.Tournament hours are Sunday, August 15th., 2010 from 07:45 to 3:00 pm. (trickle start)

5.Tournament headquarters are the Public Dock, Big Moose Rd. on Lake Nosbonsing.

6.All entrants must start their fishing day by checking in at Tournament Headquarters for boat inspection and must return by 3:00 pm. to measure. A minimum size of Fifteen (15) inches will be in effect. Entrants returning late to measure will be penalized by one (1) inch per minute after 3:00 pm.

7.Tournament boundaries are the whole of Lake Nosbonsing to the Bonfield bridge.

8.Pike only will be allowed for entry, all other species must be immediately released.

9.A team will consist of two anglers, one of which must be 18 years of age or older

10.Each boat must have some type of operational aerating devise for live fish storage

11.Only artificial bait shall be used.

12.All contestants mustwear approved life jackets while traveling, other than trolling or drifting

13.Boats may be inspected at any time during the day

14.No persons other than the actual competitors or a tournament official are allowed in their boat

15.No participant can touch shore during the day other than at the official Tournament Headquarters.

16.No street drugs or alcoholic beverages allowed on board.

17.All Federal and Provincial Fisheries and Boating Regulations must be observed at all times. A minimum distance of 100 feet must be maintained between competitor's boats.

18.Each team will be given an identification number which must be turned over to officials at the end of competition. You must tag out at a measuring station no later than 4pm.

19.All standings shall be determined on a total length basis, including any applicable live release bonus. Any tie will be decided by the teams longest fish including the live release bonus.

20.The decisions of the judges and tournament officials are final and not subject to appeals.

21.Competitors may be disqualified for any violation of tournament rules, or for unsportsmanlike conduct or abuse of Tournament Officials.

22.Fish can be measured all day, 7:45am. to 3pm. at Tournament Headquarters, Government Dock.

23.Pike will be measured from the tip of the nose to the longest tip of the tail and scored one (1") point per inch.

24.Up to 10 pike may be entered by any team during the course of the tournament. A teams total score will be determined by adding together the points accumulated by that teams five (5) longest fish. Not more than four (4) to be greater than 61cm. (24") and of which no more than two (2) to be greater than 86cm. (33.9") This is a live release tournament, fish, which, in the opinion of the judges can survive will receive a two (2") inch bonus. If a dead fish is measured, it will count in total.

25In order to win the big prize, the fish measured must be alive.

26.One team member must be present to collect team prizes, no proxy.

  Prize distribution and BBQ will be held at the Nosbonsing Curling Club
